Karori Community Centre – Permanent, part-time position – 18 hours per week.
 

We are looking for a customer focused person, with lots of initiative and the ability to learn quickly, for our Office Coordinator role. This is a permanent, part-time position beginning on 21 January 2025. Flexibility with your hours is essential although usually between 9am and 3pm.
 

You will be part of a small, close-knit team and ensure our community users have a warm, inspiring, helpful experience. No two days are ever the same.
 

Using your welcoming manner, you will provide general reception duties, excellent administrative support and may be involved in one-off events. You will have good communication, interpersonal and networking skills, be highly self-motivated and take initiative. Being friendly, composed and efficient are key along with having a  proactive approach to problem solving.
 

You will help ensure the office is run effectively, manage bookings, invoicing, the cleaning contract, coordinate minor building repairs and ensure Health and Safety procedures are in place. You will have great Microsoft skills. Ideally you would also be familiar with Xero and have social media skills, or be prepared to learn.
